This is a summary of DEAR reports and included fields. Click through the links to see further information about each report and answers to user questions.  If you are still unsure about which report you need, don't hesitate to get in touch with DEAR support.

Most reports can be automatically generated and sent out to authorised users using the Report Scheduling feature available to DEAR customers with Automation module subscriptions. See Report Scheduling for more information.

Users can be given permissions to have read-only access to reports or full editing access. Each category (Purchase, Sale, Inventory) is managed by a separate permission. See Managing DEAR Reports - Setting report permissions).

NOTE: You may see discrepancies in totals of financial reports (Trial Balance, Profit and Loss, etc.) which are based on invoice dates compared with Inventory reports which track actual stock in and stock out dates. If you see a discrepancy, the first place to check is the Transactions vs Stock on Hand Difference report – the most common cause of discrepancies is goods invoiced not received or goods received not invoiced. You may want to enable Inventory Accrual transactions if this a common scenario for your business.

Manual Journals can also cause discrepancies, as they will be reflected on the Balance sheet but may not be included in the Inventory Movement report.

Prerequisites:

  • Managing DEAR Reports (Read this for information on searching, filtering, exporting and scheduling reports, as well as setting report permissions).
