This inventory report shows which components are out of stock in an Assembly when auto-assembly is enabled. Armed with the information available in this report, users can take the necessary action to ensure that orders do not pile up due to insufficient components needed to complete an Assembly.
The report only displays sales with the Auto-Assembly option switched on and where one or more components of the Assembled Product is out of stock, thus preventing the Assembly from being completed. For example, if there are 100 sale orders that did not auto-assemble, the report displays the components that were out of stock for those sales and the quantity of the relevant component needed to complete the Assembly.
The trigger for adding components to the report is a sale order authorisation where auto-assembly failed due to out-of-stock components. See Using Out-of-Stock Components for Auto-Assembly for a detailed explanation of this process.
This report is only available to users with the Inventory Reporting access permissions.
This report can be automatically generated and sent out to authorised users using the Report Scheduling feature available to DEAR customers with the Automation module subscription. See Report Scheduling for more information.

Data from this report can be exported in Excel, PDF or RTF format.
Input:
Reporting Period | Allow user to select the reporting period from a list of options are set custom a custom date range |
Layout | Set to the Default layout. Allows selection of saved layouts, if any. |
Save Layout As | Allows saving of a layout for potential future use. |
Reset Layout | Resets layout to the default layout or selected saved layout. |
Select Apply Filter to set filter fields for the report and Update to refresh the output with any new changes. See Managing DEAR Reports - Filtering Reports for more detailed information about using filters.
