Map Product Attributes data to Sales Orders automatically

Additional Attributes fields are the same in both Product and Sales Order, but SOs don't automatically populate the Additional Attributes fields and each field has to be manually selected in each SO.

The attribute data should be automatically pulled from the Product to the SO - this would enable much more information to be displayed in the sales summary pages, currently I can't see how to view what product purchased in the sales summary without having to click into the order, which takes time and then when clicking back goes to the default General screen, not the one you were last on.
