B2B default shipping method

We have configured the Default Carriers for all our customers. For example, some are local so are delivered by Company Van, some are further away and will be delivered by a Courier or Pallet Service. Can the Default Carrier that is set on the customer record be used during B2B checkout so that the customer doesn’t have to choose between the different options, as they will not apply to them?
