Double check of Work in Progress / Completion date of an Assembly's / Production Order

Work in Progress date and Completion date of the Assembly was mistakenly set 12 months in advance ie 7/6/2023 not 7/6/2022, and this was not realised at the time. Once stock has moved, the Assembly is not able to be 'undone'.

Can there be code written that will ask the person completing the assembly to double check the completion date if they have mistakenly set it to occur in the future? 

For us and I assume other people, reporting of Assemblies (or Production Orders) is work that has been completed in the past, not usually completed in the future.
