Additional Attributes for Assemblies and Production Orders / Runs

It would add a whole dimension to assembled/manufacturedd stock in DEAR if Additional Attributes could be specified for individual assemblies and production orders/production runs.
Requests for this are embedded as comments in this Feature Request: Material Requirements Planning Module Improvements, but I want to call it out separately as an improvement for the Assembly Module, too.
