Ability to view "Cost layers"

Currently there is no way to see the quantity and cost for products on hand.  Only the Average Cost.

For example if have PRODUCT X and purchase a qty of 10 at $1 and later purchase a qty of 10 at $2, it would be great to have a report or stock visibility that shows

20 on hand

10 @ $1

10 @ $2

Instead of course we just get the unit price which takes the total value divided by the total qty. 

Viewing costing layers also serves as a historical price report.
