Permissions to restrict discounts below cost

It would be great if there were settings and permissions on restricting someone from being able to sell below cost.i.e. if someone is giving a discount on a product then that discount should not make the final price less than the cost of that product.

There should be a couple of functions like being able to set what the minimum margin should be and who this minimum is applied to i.e. the cashier cannot sell below cost but a manager (or authorised person) could.

This is mostly an issue through POS where they can't see the cost of a product (and those who are using POS probably shouldn't see the cost anyway) and where applying a discount to a product has a much higher chance of making the final price below cost.
