  • MAXIMUM STOCK ALLOCATION PER CUSTOMER, PER SKU

A field in the "Catalog" screen against each SKU that allows us to enter a maximum (unit of measure) per customer.

Many businesses use a limit per customer to ensure greater distribution of stock and that benefits such as discounts can have a controlled release to market.

If a customer attempts to add a qty above the limit to the cart, a pop-up could inform them "(SKU description) is limited to qty(x) per customer — you have qty(y) remaining of your maximum allocation"

  • I second your request to add the Unit of Measure to the pricing, Nasser,

Importantly along with this addition, we need more visibility of tax rules, this could be customisable text in the Portal settings. In Australia, this statement is compulsory if price excludes GST.

Combining these, for example, $x.xx ex-GST per case of 6

  • The Products should Show Price/UOM

Now only showing price , but what about UOM? is it piece , dozen , kg , or gram?

  • MULTIPLE IMAGES

The ability to publish multiple images under each SKU, I imagine this will be high on the list for many DEAR subscribers.

This would allow a much greater ability to communicate product details—like the back of a product, or schematics.

    I request this too please!

TOGGLE LISTING OF DEPRECATED SKU'S IN B2B

The ability for a customer to have visibility of deprecated SKU's, allowing customers to maintain access to resources (description, imagery, pricing, etc) of SKU's that are no longer available for sale.

I imagine this would also necessitate a similar toggle in the B@B Portal settings "Catalog", so we can control/view the listing status.

  • Could you please submit this issue as a support request stating your organisation name and some test case with products in checkout. We tried to reproduce this problem but it seem as working as expected with shipping zones.

  • If more than one of an item are added to the shopping cart the weights are not added and therefore the correct shipping weight class is not being chosen for B2B portal orders.  You can add 1 or 100 of an item but it will give the shipping class as though it was only 1.  It looks like weights are adding up if you have 1 ea. of different items in the cart though.

  • The notification issue will be resolved soon.

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

  • Not sure if this is a B2B issue or something else but...

There is a little bell in the top right of the Dear window that usually shows a notification for a new portal order or other info.  This little bell doesn't seem to be working this week, we are getting no indication that there are new portal orders unless the bell is clicked, then they seem to be listed there as usual.

  • There is no need to actually use openssl. Once you got certificate files with private key file from your certificate issuer, you can use this tool to convert the format to PFX: https://www.sslshopper.com/ssl-converter.html

Don't forget to select any intermediate certificates in this dialog if provided by your certificate issuer.

  • Mark, you don't need to set up a Windows server, the .pfx file is required only to prove to the DEAR Windows server that your domain is secure.

I spent the better part of three weeks negotiating my way through the process,

You need to request a copy of your SSL certificate files from the issuer of your SSL certificate.
I had to then source a PC to run the openSSL software (as we are Mac based, and generating the Mac .p12 version was a dead-end),
I then used this software to combine the files into a .PFX file.

    Good luck!

  • Yes please share because it doesn't seem possible without setting up a Windows server. The best guess I had was to generate one in another format and then use a converter that I found online but not sure yet if it would work.
