Update only Certain Columns with CSV
Add the ability to Update Only Certain Columns when importing (inventory list)
for example, having a csv sheet with only 2 columns, "Product Code" and "Price tier 1 "should only update "Price tier 1" for these Products when imported
Fully agree - It's a bit scary exporting the whole list and making a few changes then importing the whole list, through fear of messing up a few lines by mistake and not seeing it in such a large list.
100% agreed! Missing columns should be ignored for updates. If you are not quick with the export, update, re-import process, there is good potential of overwriting valid data with old data. Especially in a busy system.
Other inventory systems all allow you to run updates only on selected fields.
