Setup delivery calendar

The delivery calendar defines the days when delivery tasks can be scheduled and the number of available delivery timeslots. If all timeslots for a delivery day are booked, no more deliveries can be scheduled on that day.

The delivery calendar applies to the POS store outlet for that location only. To check the outlet location, go to Integrations → POS → [select store] to view the locations of your POS outlets. You need to add a delivery calendar to all POS locations where you wish to use the delivery scheduling feature.

Set default hours and delivery days

The first step is to set the working hours for a default delivery day and the days for a default delivery week. This can be done from the Locations page.

  1. Go to Settings → Reference Books → Locations and bins and select a POS outlet location.
  2. Go to the Delivery calendar tab.
  3. Enter the No. of deliveries per day and the Delivery time interval in minutes.
  4. Click Delivery scheduling to open a pop-up window, then click Calendar settings.
  5. From the drop-down list, select the day of the week on which the workweek starts.
  6. Open the Select weekend days drop-down list. Click on a day of the week to mark it as a weekend (weekend days are displayed in grey).
  7. Set the start time, end time, and break for each day of the week by clicking on the field for that day. The calendar only allows for one break per day. You can click the copy icon at the end of a row to apply the hours from that row to all weekdays.
    • Start is the time when the working day starts, in the format hh:mm. The start time can't be later than the end time. The field accepts any values for hours from 0 to 24 and for minutes from 0 to 60.
    • End is the time when the working day ends, in the format hh:mm. The end time can't be earlier than the start time. The field accepts any values for hours from 0 to 24 and for minutes from 0 to 60.
    • Break is the time period for the break, in the format hh:mm - hh:mm. The start of the break can't be later than the end of the break. The fields accept any values for hours from 0 to 24 and for minutes from 0 to 60.
