Customizable Expiry rules

We want to set an expiry period/shelf life for each individual SKU. When a SKU is received via a PO the system automatically adds the expiry period to the receive date to give an expiry date for that stock.
Example
If we setup the expiry rule as 6 months from the Received date for Product A, The system should be able to fill the expiry date column at Receiving stage automatically based on the Rule.
