Sales Reports Comparison

We are trying to compare two sales reports however the Sales overview report shows the report by Invoice date but the Sales by Product Details report shows the report by Delivery Date which then leads to invoice dates being outside the date range so the totals are not matching due to the cutoff differences. is there a way to get both of these sales reports by invoice date in order for them to reconcile to each. We have also tried with the profit and loss by Product report but this does not show the invoice or delivery date but you are only able to put the Month and Year but not sure what the date is based on
