Best way to handle price increases for multiple customers?

We are wondering what is the best practice you found for handling price increases in DS with many customers, some having - some not having custom prices, to some applying a price increase, to some not applying (or applying a difference % of increase, for example), some having discounts set etc
What would be the best way to joggle all the variables and keep the business' flexibility in DS?
