Sales commission report based on payment date not invoiced date

Hello we are using Customer Payment Details report in order to generate sales representative's commission. Reps are paid when payment received. However, the Customer Payment Details report only filter through invoice date, where as there should be an option to filter through Payment dates. 

We should be able to generate a report based on payment date... all payment received this month for different clients, regardless when it has been invoiced.
