Ability to refund prepayments

At this time there does not appear to be a way to efficiently refund prepayments taken during the sale quote process. I don't understand why this would be the case or why it is not possible All of the suggested workarounds involve dummy sales transactions and credit notes, which clutter the accounting and can overstate revenue. Please consider adding this feature.
