Invoice date showing on all reports

Dear stupidly launched advanced sales and did not set up the database correctly so that the reports could show invoice date. 

So now when we run reports there's no dates. 

Their suggestion was not to used advanced sales if I need it in reports, but in another thread they told me to turn advanced sales as default if I have partial fulfilments from Shopify integrations.
