Integration to Booking/Appointment system
For businesses such as clinics that require the handling of advanced inventory functions like batch tracking, DEAR ticks the boxes. However, there is no integration to Booking or Appointment software and it therefore can not be used to handle the scenario where a client books online, order is pushed and sold from DEAR POS.
The closest thing we could come up with was pushing an Invoice into DEAR from a Booking system like Setmore and then using Click & Collect from DEAR POS to find the invoice and process the payment/transaction. The main issue with this is, one would not be able to add items to the same sale. Therefore if a client would want to add a product, there would need to be a separate receipt. Having said that, we never fully tested the theory as the client was not content with this workaround.
