Product Discounts/Deals by Product Family
We are trying to build out our Dear portal for our wholesale customers. However there are deals/discounts we offer if products from the same product family are bundled together.
EG - buy 12 or more units of the same product for X% discount. However the product comes in multiple flavours and customers can mix and match flavours in order to get to the 12 unit discount... providing they're all from the same family.
We need to make this automated so when our wholesale customers are using the B2B portal, these deals are honoured and are shown in the shopping kart.
ISSUE #1 - Product Deals for Product Families
We are needing a solution where we can automate discount deals for family groups based on quantity buy.
EG. We offer a X% discount for a purchase of 12+ units for products bundled within the same family.
6x Sports drink - Flavour 1
3x Sports drink - Flavour 2
3x Sports drink - Flavour 3
= sell price minus 10% discount (because they have bought 12 or more of the same product, however different flavour)
We understand there are tags and categories we can use to bundle product groups together, however our Shopify is integrated with DEAR therefore whenever I do product downloads the tags and/or categories are overridden by what is in Shopify.
Being able to offer quantity based purchase discounts by family products would solve this issue.
ISSUE #2 - Discount by Product Line, Not Order Level
When the above issue is solved there needs to be a solution offered where the discounts are coming off per line item and not as a order level discount.
EG. We offer a X% discount for a purchase of 12+ units for products bundled within the same family.

When a discount is applied to the above scenario the discount should come off the qualifying line items and not the order total. This function should be offered.
I would agree with this but would extend it to Categories as well.
We need to be able to offer quantity based discounts for not just 1 product in a category, but all products. For example, Buy 3 T Shirts (Any colour and style) and Save 30%. At the moment you have to buy 3 of the same product to receive the discount.
