Increase Comment Length on Sales Order Items
It would be very helpful for our sales team if the length limit of the Comment field on Sales Order Items was increased from 256 to 500 (or more) characters. They use that field for product descriptions when quoting and frequently run up against the current character limit.
Another important reason to increase the Sale Order comment field is for e-commerce consolidated orders. For businesses with even modest e-commerce transaction levels, the list of order numbers gets cut off, so there is no way to see or search for an e-commerce transaction number. See example below. Preferably, the Comments field would be unlimited in length with a scrolling text box in the Sale Order header.
