Block a product selling below available stock (b2B portal), for products at end of life ("to be deprecated")
Imagine you have a product to sell out, but it has been de-ranged, that is, it won't be ordered again. Seasonal stock, end of life stock.
Currently there doesn't seem to be a way of stopping a customer on the B2B portal from ordering more than currently available stock.
The nuisance is that there then needs to be communication with the customer.

Yes there needs to be a 'Discontinued' or 'Do not reorder' status for products, which sits been Active & Deprecated.
There's a number of other feature requests for this status option in Dear, but I don't think anyone has yet requested for this to be reflected on the portal.
I agree with you Tim that we it should be available, however I believe we should have the ability to turn off this status visibility on Portal.. in some scenarios it could be a deterrent to the customer purchasing :)
