Uniqueness validaton on customer reference field (optional)

Hi, enterprise systems often have uniqueness checks on customer and supplier reference fields. It flags duplicate order or invoice entry. 

My request is for uniqueness validation to be optionally added to supplier invoice number, and to customer reference numbers.
