Random Sales Rep created against customer via eCommerce Integrations

Currently when an eCommerce integration needs to create a new Customer it will automatically setup a new customer record and associate a Sales Rep against them at random. (Confirmed in Support ticket: 133546)


The Sales Rep against a Customer record is 1) not required and 2) Should at least match the Sales Rep selected in the eCommerce settings.

  • I have issues with this also, the Sales Representative being assigned to account set up automatically from eCommerce is not linking with the initial order placed - it is selecting another Sales Representative randomly. 


    This is very inconvenient if I need to print a report of accounts per Sales Representatives - as it will be incorrect as any new eCommerce  accounts are assigned to the incorrect Sales Representative.
