  • Could you please submit this issue as a support request stating your organisation name and some test case with products in checkout. We tried to reproduce this problem but it seem as working as expected with shipping zones.

  • We have a customer requesting the ability to see all of their previous orders that were not placed through the portal to be displayed in the Portal "All Orders" section.  This might be a good feature to get people to adopt the portal for orders.

  • @Nachshon,

The reason that people are not very much engaged in the upvoting button is that there is no interaction in the forum with the team and there is no clear list and "limited vote to spend".

The upvote system would get much more attention if that would be cleaned and well managed.

However, that does not even mean that would be better for us, the user. Voting system can be tricky to manage and we, as a customer, don't always understand the big picture.

But you can write my vote on any functionalities that :

+ Improve the B2B portal (Start with the basic please)

+ Improve manufacturing/Auto assembly modules module

+ Improve the compatibility with QBO/XERO

+ Improve and add more sales channels (Better integration with existing, adding others like NewEgg etc)

    + Adding a repair module

I think trying to become the B2C is a distraction from the core business as Mark E. Felling said. It's not the reason why I suscribed to this service with 2 businesses. That would be great for sure to have a complete Manufacturing/B2B/B2C/Accounting all in one solution, but the existing functionalities need a little more polish before steping on the next one. At the moment, the B2B portal is not usable for many of us but SO close to be it's unbeleivable.

Finally, so far, great service from DEAR. Not complaining but giving my opinion.

    Cheers :-)

  • RECOMMENDED RETAIL PRICE

A sub-heading on the Portal Product pages that shows a Recommended Retail Price, hidden if the field is left blank, (for other users not needing RRP).

    • Ideally, an "RRP" field could be included in the Product Settings (along with SKU, Brand etc.) — it could be reflected on the Portal as a sub-heading on the Product pages, and also incorporated into Price Lists.
    • If an RRP field is not adopted, then "Short Description" could be reinstated as a sub-heading on the Portal product pages and users can enter RRP as text.

For Wholesalers using the B2B Portal, quickly communicating the Recommended Retail Price is important.

    SHORT DESCRIPTION FIELD

The short description field was once appeared on the Portal product page under the heading, next to the image. This should be reinstated.

    INTERNAL-ONLY PRODUCT NOTES, NOT PUBLISHED

A second notes field is required on Product profiles for internal communication on a product, this would not be published on the Portal.

This can be used to document packing techniques, product faults etc.

  • Hello,

We're really happy we've discovered the B2B portal to allow our members to order during the COVID crisis, so that they don't have to come physically to our store.

We have 2 demands here that would allow us to better use the portal:

    1) Minimum to order field below 0 (ex.: 0.25 or 0.5)

    2) Ability to change the text of the buttons and and checkout instructions (to change in French)

More details below about the context:

    1) We sell bulk food and we need our members to order quantities below 0. (example: 0.5 or 0.25). One of the DEAR support team member told us that it was not possible for now and to write here. It seems like a simple thing to implement.

The impact it has it that we will have to duplicate the SKU's of our 300 products, and it will complicate the management of our price lists (we'll have to change our price for each product in 2 places)

Can you let us know if it's something that could be implemented quickly, and if not, what makes it complicated.

    2) We'd like to change the words that are displayed on the portal in French. The commerce laws in Québec (the province of Canada where we live) asks us to have everything displayed in French. If you allow us to change the text in our language, we will be more than happy to promote DEAR systems to other entreprises around here. Especially since we've discovered the B2B portal.

Many thanks for your support, and as I said, I'm very grateful for B2B portal platform that is allowing us to quickly create a transactional platform that is linked directly to our inventory system, without going through another layer of a third party software.

    Thanks,

    Pierre Robichaud

Co-owner of the Comptoir St-Vrac, a regenerative grocery

  • The default "reply to" address in the email invitation is hard coded to "support@dearsystems.com" - please change it so that the return address is to the stores' default email address.

This has been fixed: B2B email invitation Reply Email address will be taken from web portal contact address email, or from billing contact address / current user email (algorithm was taken from sale/purchase invoice emails). We keep doing improvements to our B2B portal constantly. Next big thing will be implementation of completely new Deal system (not just for B2B, but for main sale process as well). It will cover most possible scenarios with discounts and will simplify it's management. You can have a look at planned enhancements for B2B portal on our roadmap: http://dearsystems.com/inventory-software/development-roadmap/
Most of the B2B enhancements are taken from suggestions on this thread so keep up filling it with new cool features you would like to see on the B2B platform.

  • It's great that the MOQ per SKU feature has been implemented, but when the customer adds items to the cart the default qty should actually be the MOQ per SKU that has been set.

Currently the default qty for all items is 1, so when the the user goes to check out they have to make the necessary changes to meet the MOQ. Why not make it more usable and default to the MOQ instead? Saves time for the user and increases order value for the supplier, a win-win situation.

Like this idea and let's get this implemented!

  • I second Jeff's concept — there is room for improvement in the B2B Settings Invitations page, enabling extra columns in the display would solve this, include columns for "Job Title", "Price Tier" and "Additional Attributes" would allow us to filter contacts in the manner that DEAR has taught us to in other areas.

Also, the "Date" field shows the date of the first invitation, not the latest invitation — changing this to "Days since last invitation" would help sort aged invitations.

A result after send would be useful too, it would indicate if the email address no longer exists (staff change, etc.) — a column for "Deliverable" yes/no would help us keep contacts up to date. DEAR might consider disabling the sending ability for an email address that wasn't deliverable.

  • What about the roadmap for the non B2B and POS enhancements?

  • Customer requested document (PDF) attachment download option for products. The customer has a technical specification or 'Spec Sheet' that they associate to products and would like this to be available to customers to download from B2B from within the product page.

  • The B2B portal is live, showing promise but currently buggy flawed. Where can we post feedback and report bugs and issues so this new addition to DEAR can be finessed into something great?

  • When a customer clicks on the invitation link they come to the screen below. It's confusing - it should be "Welcome to STORE NAME B2B portal" but it now says "Welcome to CUSTOMER NAME B2B Poral":

  • Please also add the keyword [CustomerEmail] to the B2B portal invitation email so when a customer receives the invitation and chooses a password they'll also know which email they'll need to use when signing in.
