FAQs

In the Lot Expiry report, the item ZMA17733 shows with available quantity on 3 locations although I have made credit note for all locations. When I go to Product availability, I can see that the products show in the On hand and Available column.

This can happen when the unstock quantity is less than the Stock received quantity, therefore stock is still available from these orders. This can be corrected by performing an Inventory Write Off

Can I add cost of goods to the report to show value of the stock about to expire?

The Lot Expiry report currently shows the stock on hand quantity only and there is no option to add the cost. This can be added as a feature request to our forum so other users can vote on it, depending on the popularity we might consider it on our upcoming releases. As a workaround, you may utilise the Inventory Movement Details Report to combine to this report to include the Cost in for a certain batch/serial number using VLOOKUP.
