Shopify SKU changes not syncing with DEAR

When we change a product SKU in Shopify the change doesn't Sync with DEAR. This is extremely frustrating and causes errors when we ship our orders.


It means using the clone product tool in shopify is very dangerous as if you don't change the SKU before a sync occurs the product will be linked incorrectly to DEAR.


I have been told products are linked by internal ids, not by current SKU values and this is the reason.


Please fix this or make a simple way to identify the misalignment? If we could export the raw data with the internal ids we could at least do a lookup and highlight errors.
