I created a custom chrome extension for Jonathan to do this as a workaround.

This would be extremely handy for clients who have specific information they must have to be able to run their business. It is understandable to not allow or change the existing mandatory ones however it would be beneficial to allow additional fields to be turned on as also mandatory.
