Batch Number of Components to be Shown on Extended Pick List

We work with sending out boxes of product and to do this we create an auto assembly to put single boxes into cases of 6. Currently if the order is split over 2 different batches we can not easily see which batches are to be in the order (even on the extended pick list). To find this we have to exit the pick screen and find the correct finished goods lines that correspond to the sales order, this is both a pain and time consuming.

Would it please be possible to a) have an option on the pick list to expand the automatic assembly to see what's in it or b) at least make the batch number visible on the extended pick list?
