A Zendesk integration with DEAR would be great. We currently also use Woo Commerce for our online store and it is integrated to Zendesk. When you go into a Woo Commerce order you can see all corresponding Zendesk tickets for that customer/order. See screenshot here - http://d.pr/i/146tR
We use Zendesk to not only communicate with customers, but also suppliers and also internally among staff.
Unfortunately the "Notes" in DEAR are of no use for us. The fact that anyone can just delete what you have written in there completely compromises its integrity.
