Allow Quantity and Rate to sync to QBO

I understand why DEAR wants quantity on hand tracking turned off in QBO. What I am confused by is why it requires the quantity and rate fields to be turned off as well. These are purely reference fields on forms that do not affect the accounting, but simply provide information on the quantity and rate that make up the total 'Amount' column.
